BP-30

Apollo BP-30 is displayed as the Command Module for the Saturn V that is at the Apollo/Saturn V Center at Kennedy Space Center. While this capsule is technically a Block 1 model, it has many Block 2 features. Originally manufactured as Boilerplate #18, it was upgraded and outfitted to be used as a test vehicle for a proposed third test flight of the Saturn V to be performed if the Apollo 6 mission was unsatisfactory. During the restoration, it was painted to simulate a production spacecraft.
