Mercury-Redstone

Suspended from the ceiling inside the Heros and Legends Building at the Kennedy Space Complex Visitor Center is a Mercury-Redstone. Portions of the rocket are cut-away to reveal some of the inner structure. The actual Sigma 7 capsule is afixed to the end of this replica, even though it was launched atop a Atlas rocket.
