It was originally created by Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire by the set designers of the James Bond movie, Diamonds are Forever. After 30 years, the model had become slightly dilapidated and was almost removed from the exhibition. But a detailed restoration plan has seen the iconic replica returned to pristine condition.
