Lunar Roving Vehicle

This Lunar Rover prototype was developed in 1965 by the Boeing Corporation to carry two astronauts, scientific equipment, and lunar samples across the moon's surface. The wheels made of woven piano wire mesh were designed to enable the lunar soil to pass through the wheel yet provide traction over various terrain.

The Rover you are looking at is also an ABC Television star having appeared in the television series Salvage .
