Mercury MA-6 Friendship 7

This capsule, Friendship 7, was flown by John Glenn, America's first astronaut to orbit the Earth. It used to be displayed wrapped in a Plexiglas shell in the Milestones of Flight Gallery. The capsule is now displayed in a modern case along side Gemini IV.
